Description:
Here is a new entry to the RRPA database - a Belt Rwy of Chicago Alco C424 unit #604. The loco was eventually sold off with its sister units around 2000. This is a color slide taken by David M. Johnston.

This calf tehtered to its mother, BRC TR4A #506, was built by EMD in September of 1950 and was still active in 2008 according to the posted photos in RRPA. This is a color slide by Jim Shepard.

BRC GP33ECO #290 - Belt Rwy of Chicago
Description:
Here is a new generation of power at the Belt Rwy of Chicago. Progress Rail rebuilt this from HOG GP40 1540 (nee-CN GP40 4007, ex-CN 9307). GP33ECO uses an EPA Tier 3-compliant prime-mover. This is a color slide by Mark Mautner.
