Album Info:June or July of 2002 the NVRR ran the Demo of Colorado Rail Cars DMU CRMX 2002. We did the dog and pony show for California DOT, CPUC, UP etc. This unit was very easy to operate but had very poor operator visibilty to the sides. I was able to operate it over the NVRR and with a pilot on the CFNR to Suisun so it could be picked up and sent to LA. My understanding this Unit was in Florida and some how was scrapped after being wrecked. It was a good idea but maybe railcars of this sort are a thing of the past. I will scan the sales flyer of this unit and add it when time permits.

Description:  Reverser is on the right and the throttle control on the left. It did not have detents on the throttle. If I remember down was throttle and up was for dynamics. It was odd hearing the Detroit Diesel Series 60 rather then an Alco 251.
