I am standing on the old way into town, on the Lackawanna trackage into the former YO yard that was replaced in the late 80s with the connection track the SQ555 is on. Description:  During the Marathon Maple Festivals, NYSW would run shuttle trains from Marathon up to Cortland, primarily as a ride people attending the festival could take as part of the activities, but also as a way for people to reach the event. at while parking was a nightmare. Heres the train taking on passengers at the old DLW station in Cortland, with one of the historic crossing watchmens towers in front of the station.
