For test purposes Bombardier brought the second unit of new class BR 187 to Switzerland. It has flexible sidepanels, which operators can use for advertisements. Here, 187 002 took place on the 100 year anniversary of Lötschberg and was open to public.

Bombardier BR 187 operations
Description:
Bombardier TRAXX AC3 on the way back to BLS depot of Spiez. BLS has already agreed, to hire three 187 from Railpool as soon they are delivered in late autumn. The AC3 class has also a last mile option with a diesel engine with 240 kW output, a battery and a fuel tank of 400 liters.
